Emails

As I sit here in the Senate chambers reading and answering emails about the Governor's tobacco tax I looked up at the ceiling and was struck by the beauty of the Senate's dome. So I took a picture. The photo does not do it justice.

Back to the emails. I am very happy to hear from you. I try to answer every email I receive -though with the volume of "tobacco tax" emails (from both sides) sometimes the answer is just a simple "Thank you for contacting me. I am glad to hear from you and I will keep your thoughts in mind as the debate progresses." I do read every email and I am more partial to the nice ones than to the vitrolic ones - but either way I read and respond.

Email is a very efficient way for us to correspond. No phone tag and if I need more information from staff to answer you I can forward your message. I do love to talk to you also - so if you want to talk call the Senate (501) 682-2902, leave me a message and I will call you back just as quickly as I can.
