Yesterday was an unusually busy day for me. I spent most of the morning doing insurance work as I try to get ready for the session to begin Monday. The afternoon was spent visiting with different groups discussing their legislative needs for the upcoming session. Representative Stewart came to my office and we visited with a couple of people with concerns. After he left I had two more appointments with individuals who had driven down from Little Rock. In most cases the case they make for additional funding is valid and usually a good cause but if the money is not there then the money is just not there.
One thing is sure. The session begins on Monday, the12th and things are going to get busier and more hectic for a while.
