On my way to Little Rock yesterday I stopped and called on a potential customer and talked with him about his insurance.
My friends at the Murfreesboro Chamber of Commerce were hosting their "A Taste of Christmas" luncheon at the Senior Citizens Center. I dropped in there to have a really good lunch. Turkey, dressing, all the vegetables you could want, homemade bread and as good a piece of chocolate pie as I have had in years (in fact, when I left I took an extra piece of that pie with me and ate it on the way). I enjoyed visiting with my friends from the area.
Then I was off to Little Rock to the Capitol. The House is finishing up their week of "orientation" and I had the opportunity to visit with a lot of House members. I also had an Independent Insurance Agents board meeting and Christmas party at our new office.
My Sunday School party was last night also, so I left there in a rush and barely made it home in time to make the party.
