Debbie and I were invited to Hope to Penny and UACCH Chancellor Chris Thomason's home this evening for a "come and go" Christmas Party. They were most gracious hosts and their house was beautifully decorated. There seemed to be quite a few dropping in and out of the house. The food was beautifully prepared and good. We really enjoyed it and appreciate the invitation.
From there we went to the Hempstead County Democratic Women's Christmas party. It was held at BanCorp South's upstairs community room. There was a good crowd, I did not think there were as many as last year but it was a good crowd - good food and good company.
Then back to Nashville to catch the Scrapper Band's Christmas Concert. I caught most of the Junior High band and all of the Senior High Band's performance. I was sorry that I missed the 6th grade band - I am always amazed that in such a short time they can learn to play Christmas music. I imagine I have attended every Christmas band concert here for at least 10 years and maybe more. As you already know I enjoy Christmas. The picture below is the Senior High Band taken with my phone, not a great quality picture.
