This photo is from the top of the Space Needle and shows Mt. Rainier in the distance. I did not realise the Space Needle was built in 1962 for the World's Fair.

I am very happy to be back in Arkansas tonight having spent the last 3 nights in Seattle attending the Southeast Legislative Summit hosted by Microsoft. There were legislators, government officials and others in attendance from across the south.
The Arkansas delegation consisted of Speaker of the House Robbie Wills, Representative Greg Reep, Lamar Davis & Grant Tennille from the Governor's office, former Speaker of the House Herschel Cleveland and me. I know that Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina were represented and I am probably leaving a state or two out. Our meetings were on Microsoft's campus in Redmond.
We talked about a lot of subjects including online security and safety, health IT, gaming and we toured their home of tomorrow and work center of tomorrow - to name of some of the subjects we discussed. It was a long way to travel but I have learned over the years that the more I know on a subject the better I am able to make decisions if that subject comes before the Legislature. Microsoft has some resources available for our law enforcement and educators. I want to be sure to get the information out to them.

I have told you before I love Christmas, this was a display in the Seattle airport, the photo does not do it justice, I found it to be very beautiful. I was very happy to get back home to our Christmas tree and family.
