What a great evening tonight was. I love Christmas and the Nashville City Park's Christmas Lighting has become one of my favorite events. Santa, hot chocolate, horse drawn wagon rides, singing - all of it just great fun. The line to see Santa was huge but I bet it was worth the wait. I missed my good friend Dolly's smiling face but Holly, James, Miles and crew were all working hard, smiling and probably enjoying it as much as I was.
After leaving there I went to the Fairgrounds where the Howard County Cattlemen's Association was holding a meeting/feed. There was certainly a good crowd for a cold evening like tonight. It seemed to me the meat was cooked to perfection tonight, tender and good.
Now I am headed home to sit and enjoy the fireplace.and enjoy the glow of the lights from the Christmas tree. I love a good, pretty fire in the fireplace and I love our Christmas tree.
