Howard Memorial Hospital Beam SigningThe Farmers Market had a groundbreaking this morning. There was a great crowd. It has been interesting to see the amount of interest it has generated. This years test run of the market was a huge success without a facility. It will give our area farmers and gardeners an outlet for their produce.
Apparently it is a tradition in the hospital building industry to have a beam signing as the last beam is hung in a construction project. Today was the day. After the very brief ceremony those attending were treated to Trish's BBQ. I am thankful the community supports our many institutions.
