After the meal - before the auction
After leaving the Fire Department fundraiser I stopped by the Delta Waterfowl Banquet. The crowd was good, the room was basically full. I had already eaten but I sampled the food - my friend Calvin Buice had cooked the meal and it was very good.
I picked up a large arrangement of red roses for Debbie, she certainly deserves them for putting up with me. They had me down as sponsoring an auction item, I remember giving a cash donation for that purpose. I hope that they have a successful evening and that everyone gets home safely.
