Annual Jefferson-Jackson Dinner at Alltel in Little Rock

Debbie and I drove to Little Rock yesterday afternoon to attend the Arkansas Democratic Party's annual Jefferson-Jackson dinner. It was held on the floor of the Alltel arena and it was totally sold out and full.

I have not attend in the last few years but Debbie and I really enjoyed seeing lot of old friends and making some new ones. We sat at the McLarty table with our friends Robert and Jessie from the Markham Group and some of their clients; Wesley Clark and his wife, John Edwards and his wife and I have forgotten the other candidate that sat with us. We appreciated being invited and really enjoyed the evening. Suprisingly, even the food was good. I had a piece of turtle cheescake that was really good.

We drove back to Nashville after it and arrived at home shortly before midnight.

In another hour or so I am off to a fundraiser in Lockesburg. I will report in later on it.
