Tonight I was invited to attend the 22nd Howard County Childrens Center Adult Awards Banquet. It was held at the Center in the lunchroom. There was a huge crowd - if the crowd gets any bigger I don't know where they will seat everyone.
The Eagles and the Eagle's Auxiliary prepared and served the food. It was really good and they seemed to be having as good a time as everyone else. I believe they have been feeding the Awards Banquet for a long time.
My good friends Bob Cargile played for us and Jimmy Dale blessed the food. Jimmy is the President of the Board of Directors.
It was a good evening, the clients were excited and all dressed up. The work that they do at the Center is phenomenal and it is certainly worthy of our support and our prayers.
