NCSL in Philadelphia last week

I spent last week in Philadelphia attending the National Conference of State Legislators annual meeting. There was a large group of legislators and staff from around the country and the world (about 5,500). As is the case in most meetings of this type some of the meetings were worth the time and some of them were not.
I am not a big fan of big cities but Philadelphia was not a bad place to visit. There is an incredible amount of the early history of our country in Philadelphia. The top photo is of Independence Hall and the bottom photo is the Liberty Bell. The Liberty Bell was suprisingly moving. I am thankful for our founding fathers and the wisdom and grace the Lord gave them as they dreamed and planned our independence.
