We have been blessed with lots of rain lately. I don't know how much rain has fallen over the last few days but it is a lot. I drove over to Hope last night, in the rain, to listen to some bluegrass music at the "bluegrass festival" at the park. This is the second of those I have attended. I recall somewhere back earlier in the blog telling that I have discovered bluegrass music. There was a good crowd though I think that the weather had reduced its size somewhat. After leaving the bluegrass festival I went over to the Hope Coliseum to a Hispanic/Latino gathering where I had some good food and enjoyed visiting with everyone. Then off to Cottenshed Volunteer Fire Department's fish fry and auction. One thing they know how to do at Cottenshed is fry fish - it is always good. I bought some things at the auction and made it home fairly early.
The kids were both in town this weekend. We celebrated Mother's Day with a meal at my Mom's yesterday and then headed to Texarkana today to the In-Law's for a Mother's Day/Birthday celebration. I am glad to be home.
I have several meetings in Little Rock this week. I will try to blog more later.
