Visitors from Murfreesboro

I had visitors today from Murfreesboro. Bethany Briley, in red, and Grace Cole, in white, served as pages in the House today. Their mothers, Carey Beth Cole (in black) and Tonia Briley (in red) accompanied them today. Bethany is in seventh grade at Murfreesboro High School and Grace is in sixth grade at the Murfreesboro Elementary School. After they finished paging in the House they came down to the Senate and I had a chance to visit with them and take them on the floor in the Senate Chambers. We even slipped into the back and got an ice cream to help them keep their energy level up. I am always glad to see people from home and I love for our young people to get a chance to experience the process and to see our Capitol
