I left the Capitol at about 4:30 this evening. I expected an old high school friend to be at the Environmental Federation reception so I dropped in there. I stayed about 30 minutes visiting around before leaving there.
The Arkansas Municipal League started their annual Mid-Winter Conference today. They have a banquet on the first night. The Municipal League has always been my friends so I try to support them whenever I can. I dropped in on the banquet. I had the opportunity to visit with several of my mayor, clerks, council men and women and others which I very much enjoyed.
There are committee meetings tomorrow as we begin to get things rolling. We will be taking Monday off in honor of Martin Luther King and Tuesday off for the inauguration of President Obama.
