Delight School Students Visit the Capitol

I really enjoyed visiting with the group from the Delight school. The young people were bright and attentive and even asked a few questions. We talked about the actions that had taken place on the Senate floor and what that was all about and then we went up to my office where I showed them a map of my District and we talked about the Capitol. I very much appreciate Ms. Teel and Lavon taking the time to bring them to the Capitol and allowing me time to visit with them.

It is one of my great frustrations that the Delight School has such qualified and dedicated teachers, good students, pays its way financially and yet simply because it has less than 350 students it may have to close. Hopefully we will get something done about that this session.
