House Institute of Legislative Procedure

My colleagues in the House of Representatives are participating in the House Institute of Legislative Procedure this week - through Thursday. I visited with Representatives Cole and Stewart last night and it sounded as if the Institute was going well.

I remember my "orientation", I learned something each time. In 2001 I had the opportunity to participate as a leader in the process. I chaired a "mock" committee demonstrating the committee processes and procedures.

It won't be long now until January 12th. I am looking forward to the Session beginning. I still have to find lodging for the time I will be in Little Rock but otherwise I am ready to get on with it. I am so appreciative of the opportunity to serve. THANKS
