Sevier County Democratic Women and Ballot Issues

Some of the ladies cleaning up after the meal
The Sevier County Democratic Women hosted an informational meeting regarding the ballot issues on the November 4th General Election ballot. It began with a potluck dinner - the food was really good, homemade and in plenty of quantity.

Terrie James from the Sevier County office of the University of Arkansas Extension Service provided the information on the ballot issues using both a powerpoint presentation and some handouts provided by the Public Policy Center of the Extension Service. It is important that as voters we educate ourselves on the issues. I have copied the below information from the Extension Service's website (http://ppc.uaex.edu/ballot/default.htm) and I allowed the links to stay enabled so that you can click on them for more information.
