This evening was busy. There were several meetings that I would have liked to attend. I did drop by Bryan Chesshir's fish fry. The cooking crew does a great job of preparing the food. I don't know how many people were served but it was a lot.
Both the Howard County Farm Bureau and the Hempstead County Farm Bureau had their annual dinners this evening. The manager at Hope had asked me two months ago to attend their dinner and I had said that I would. Last week I found out that the Howard County dinner was tonight also. I hate it that I could not attend both but I had told the Hempstead County bunch that I would be there so I was there.
I think that the Pike County Cattlemen's had a meeting tonight also. I always enjoy visiting with them. Maybe I will be able to make their meeting next time.
As you know, I love to get out and shake hands and visit with people. Tonight was a good night for that.
