Dove Hunting in Tontitown

I got up early and drove to Tontitown Saturday morning for the opening of dove season to hunt with my former legislative colleague and my good friend David Hausam. There were lots and lots of dove. I admit to shooting a fairly large amount of shells without being particularly productive. After the hunt his wife Cindy (by far the best of those two) accompanied us to supper. We had fried chicken and I ate way too much. After we ate they gave me a mini tour of the town and some of the accompanying area.

I spent the night at their house. We had thought we might visit late but after eating too much I had to go to bed pretty early. Before heading home this morning Dave and I went to downtown Rogers and ate a good breakfast and swapped a few more stories.

Dave and Cindy are my good friends and I hate that I don't get to see them more often. It was a good weekend.
