I drove up to the Cherry Hill Volunteer Fire Department's BBQ dinner tonight. The food was good and on the way up there the weather was fine. However, on the way home the weather deteriorated significantly and the drive home was not at all pleasant.
I had never visited the Cherry Hill department before so I did make some new friends. Cherry Hill was one of the boxes in Polk County that I carried so I wanted to make the effort to stop in and say THANKS!
My friend Frankie Davis lives out that way and he was a big help in my campaign. It is still storming, think I will go home.
