Provo Fun Day

This afternoon I ran over to Texarkana to take advantage of a sale on suits and sport coats so that I might look more "Senatorial" - as my friends like to put it. Deb, mother-in-law and my future daughter-in-law Tana met me at the store to help me pick out my new clothes.

From Texarkana I headed north on US Hwy 71 and wound up in Provo where they were having a "fun day". There were already lots of wet children who were playing on a homemade redneck slip 'n slide (it's what they called it), water balloons were in play and the adults were all eating sandwiches. It is good to see communities come together for fun and recreation and just to visit.

The next outing in Provo will be the 18th of October for their kids rodeo. I have already marked it on my calendar.
