I just received this email: "an order from Federal Court Judge Barnes was received today, denying the request from Hempstead County Hunt Club for a preliminary injunction to stop the preconstruction activities at the Turk site. Judge Barnes determined that SWEPCo has not "begun actual construction" within the meaning of the PSD program, and that HCHC showed no irreparable harm, and that the balance of equities and public interest supported SWEPCo. "
The next step is the air quality permit. It is believed there should be some decision forthcoming on it soon.
I will keep you up todate. We need the jobs and the electricity in southwest Arkansas.
