4th of July activities

The morning started with breakfast at the Hickory House here in Nashville. You would not believe how much smarter I am after sitting around the table there for a little while.

From there I headed to Lockesburg. They were having a car/tractor show and had a pretty good crowd. I had forgotten that the Lions Club was serving breakfast or I might have eaten there instead. It was beginning to rain when I left there and came home. I did manage to work in a 20 mile bicycle ride after the rain.

I headed to New Hope's fire department about 5:00 for a fundraiser gathering and fireworks show. It was pretty warm up there but the crowd was good. From there I went back to Lockesburg, they had the Bear Creek Boys playing and a real good crowd gathering for the entertainment and for the fireworks.

It being my anniversary I left there about 8:00 and met Deb in Texarkana for a late meal. I ate too much and suffered on the way home. All in all it was a good day.
