You have read in this blog and I have said time after time that there is no better place in all the world to live than in Southwest Arkansas. Last night's benfit for Crimson Lovewell proved the point one more time.
I am guessing that about 500 people attended the fundraiser for Crimson and his family at the Center Point Fire Department/Community Center. An incredible crowd, good food, good music - 2 bands playing, the Rusty Relics had homemade ice cream, a silent and a live auction all contributed towards raising the approximately $20,000 raised on Crimson's behalf last night.
Neighbors loving and helping neighbors! That is Southwest Arkansas at it's finest - that is the generosity of our friends and neighbors.
