The Howard County 4-H Achievement Banquet was last night at the EH House on 2nd St. There was a good crowd of young people, parents, Extension Service and even a few politicians. The young people were having a good time, it was nice to see them recognized for their efforts. Many of them received awards. I am amazed to see some of those young ones get up in front of a crowd of about 100 and speak. The EH Ladies served good food and as always the EH House was nicely decorated. I am thankful for the Ladies of the Extension Service, the parents and the leaders for the efforts they put in on behalf of our young people. All in all it was a good evening. Debbie and I enjoyed ourselves.
