This morning we gathered at BancorpSouth for a fundraiser for the Henry C. Yerger Museum. Congressman Ross, State Representative Linda Chesterfield and Representative David "Bubba" Powers spoke as well as several others. My friend Hazel Simpson also spoke. As I have discussed in the blog before the Museum is a worthy project. Mr Yerger and those who followed him and those educated at his institution made and continue to make our world a better place. Thanks to all who work so hard on the Museum. That is Mrs Neal in the picture with me. It was a terrible place to be on a diet at. They had loads of good finger foods and I love to graze finger foods.
