Happy New Year

It is a beautiful first day of the year here in Southwest Arkansas. From my office window I don't see a cloud, just bright blue sky. Wind is blowing and the forecast is for cold, windy, and sunny for the next few days.

I am not a big one for New Years Resolutions - this year I am making only one:

That I will campaign hard everyday and that wherever two or more of you are gathered within the Senate District that I will make every effort to be there to visit with you. I will continue to read and study so that I can be informed on the issues that interest you, i.e. roads in rural arkansas, jobs (economic development), services for our senior citizens and our veterans, health care - especially saving our rural hospitals, and illegal immigration, plus others.

I hope that your New Year is your best ever and I look forward to visiting with you. If you have thoughts or concerns please call me or email me or even stop by my insurance office. If you want me to stop by your house or your business just let me know. I am in all 5 counties every week, I want to visit with you. As your Senator I will be your employee, I will work for you. I will not forget that.
