On December 7, 1941 the Japanese raid on Pearl Harbor brought America into the Second World War as a full combatant. The Japanese success in the Pacific shocked and enraged a previously divided American people into a unified country. Today we set aside in remberance of "The Day that shall live in Infamy" .
