Hempstead County Democratic Women Dinner

Debbie and I drove over to Hope last night and had supper at the Whistle Stop on Main Street. The ladies at the Whistle Stop fed us a good meal. Smoked tenderloin, green beans, candied sweet potatoes/yams, homemade rolls with an Italian Creme Cake or Carrot cake slice for dessert. Very good food. I also had a cup of hot cider with my meal. Toys were collected to give to children in need. We really enjoyed seeing our friends and making some new friends. I am an associate member of the group. Debbie and I enjoyed ourselves and the company.
