What a great football game I watched Saturday, December 10th, at War Memorial Stadium. The Mt. Ida Lions stuck to their game plan and beat a darn good Hampton team. I love high school football and I really enjoyed the game. I like to see the young men, as they struggle on the field, fight on - to not get discouraged or quit. The weather was cold but it was not unbearable - especially with the sun shining brightly. After the game I went and played with my granddaughters. All in all it was a great day.
