Girl's State

I very  much enjoy the annual Girl's State gathering. My friend Senator Sue Madison has always run the Senate's end of the program. She was on vacation with family yesterday and that left it to me. I am not confident that everything went perfectly but we did get through the day.

The best part of Girl's State to me is the hope I get from visiting with the young ladies. They are bright, energetic and I believe they will be able to fix some of the problems they will inherit from us.
