Last night the First Baptist Church hosted the Melody Boys Quartet for a hour and a half singing. I do love southern gospel and I very much enjoyed the show. The bass singer has been singing with the Melody Boys for 61 years. I would have enjoyed a few more old hymns but it was great fun. Everyone seemed to enjoy the show.
This morning we headed out early to get in our bike ride. Turned out cloudy and coolish (comparatively speaking) for the first couple hours of the ride. After that the storm blew in and things went downhill but it still was a good ride. We didn't ride as far as we had planned due to the rain and lightning. I wound up with about 60 miles which was not too bad.
