I will miss my friend Senator Sharon Trusty at the Capitol. I found her to be a fine lady and a very conscientious legislator and I wish her well in whatever she endeavors. Senate District 4 now has a new Senator. Michael Lamoureux won a special election this month and was sworn in yesterday by Supreme Court Assoociate Justice Paul Danielson. Senator Lamoureux brought a big crowd of family and friends and there was a goodly amount of Senators and Representatives in attendance also. Michael and I have been friends since we first met and I look forward to working with him in the years to come.
