Retired Teachers in DeQueen

I really enjoyed lunch today with the Sevier County retired teachers at the old Palace Restaurant, now Fat Chance's in DeQueen. The crowd was small which allowed us to just visit and talk about the issues that they wanted to discuss. As you might imagine, they were interested in teacher retirement, the lottery, and the economy among other things. I enjoyed their courtesy and visiting with them.

As you know by now, I very much enjoy opportunities to visit with my constituency. As I look at my calendar for the rest of September I note that every weekday and most Saturdays I have a place to speak or a meeting in Little Rock.
