Congratulations to the Men and Women of the Hope Lion's Club for a hugely successful Fish Fry benefiting the University of Arkansas Community College at Hope. Last year's crowd was a big crowd (It was my first time to participate) but there seemed to be many more people patiently waiting in line for their food. I never had the patience to wait in line for a plate but I did manage to get plenty to eat by snitching pieces as the cooks were working. Hope and all of Hempstead County do a great job of supporting their college and last night was no exception. I enjoyed seeing many, many of my friends there last night. Thanks to all the volunteers who were there helping. It was a good evening with almost perfect weather for a fish fry.
