My good friends Kenneth and Betty Currence celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary today. The celebration was held in the Fellowship Hall of the Lockesburg United Methodist Church. Kenneth and Betty are faithful members of the church and probably have been for a very long time. I met them about 12 years ago when I was running for State Representative and I always am glad to see them and get a chance to say hello. There was a good turnout of people wishing to congratulate them - I had the opportunity to visit with a lot of people and it was obvious that they have a lot of friends.
The picture above shows them holding a Senate Citation I had prepared for them. Representative Cole also had a House Citation prepared for them. Good Luck to Kenneth and Betty and may God Bless them and their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
