Debbie and I drove to Little Rock yesterday, arriving about 1:30. I wanted to attend the Insurance and Commerce Committee meeting and I dropped Deb off at the Park Plaza Mall for a little Christmas shopping.
We met back at the Capitol so that Debbie could get ready for the Governor's Christmas party. Most of our legislative friends were there - it was nice to meet a lot of their spouses. We did not stay very long before we headed over to the Alltel Arena to watch the Rockettes. It was a great show - it is very impressive as they kick and dance completely in time.
We arrived back in Nashville before 11:00 last night. It was a busy day but productive and fun.
