I spent a couple of hours in Hope visiting with the school superintendents and the Co Op staff. Education is an area I do not know enough about and the more that I learn the better I am able to make decisions regarding education.
Among the topics we discussed were the cost of teacher's health insurance, transportation costs, school choice, home schooling, some property tax issues and small school problems.
I appreciate them taking the time to visit with me and to answer my questions. In the next few months before the Session starts I hope to have group meetings with lots of different people so that I can be sure I have a better feel for the concerns of my constituents.
