I spent the evening in Pike County today. The Glenwood Regional Chamber of Commerce was hosting a grand opening/ribbon cutting on the Depot they have been working so hard on. It will be the Chamber's new office. It is really nice inside and they had a good turnout. Representative Stewart and I have some work to do to try to get them a driveway installed.
From there I went to Langley, the fire department was having a fish fry. The fish was cooked to perfection and they had a great crowd -people just kept coming. My friends the Bear Creek Boys were playing. They give countless hours supporting our area activities. I have never been to an event at the Langley Fire Department that was not very well supported by the community.
Hope that you are enjoying your holiday weekend. Be safe!
