The Week - So Far

This has been a fairly busy week. Hope-Hempstead County Chamber Banquet was Monday night. Tuesday I visited the Tollette Senior Citizens Center and then went to the Howard County Cattlemen's dinner Tuesday evening. Wednesday I met with a group that is very concerned about the US Forestry Service plan to close a lot of the 4 wheeler access trails in the Ouachita National Forest. Last night was the Hempstead County Democratic Women's Beans & Cornbread Supper at the Fairgrounds in Hope. There was a good crowd and plenty of beans and cornbread and lots of good desserts. I saw a lot of friends and made some new ones.
